Music (though not necessarily the kind with classical harmony) has always fueled my heart. It began with a “Kapral” cassette player and pirate tapes (we were cut off from the world in 80’s) of The Beatles, Pink Floyd, and The Stranglers from the few private music stores in Communist Poland. I started my first punk band with friends in the mid-’80s, just after primary school, mainly to annoy the neighbors in our block of flats on Koziny in Łódź… Later, in high school, there were another bands, rehearsals, few concerts, even some recordings, though ultimately, I shifted to writing about music and supporting independent artists.
